Turin Airport is an airport serving Turin (Torino), a city in the Piedmont region of Italy. It is also named Sandro Pertini Airport (Aeroporto Sandro Pertini), after former Italian President Sandro Pertini.
It was built in 1953 and was renovated in 1989 and then again in 2005 in preparation for the Winter Olympics. The airport is a focus city of the reborn Alitalia. It is located 10 miles (16km) north of the center of Turin.
